Teri of Teri Fode Photography has created a gorgeous Gallery Wall and has customized her look with frames and wall coloring. This look was created along with a description guide- which is a great idea.

Be sure to print off an 8x10 of the guide for any client that purchases a wall collection- that way they can recreate this same look on their own walls with a great reference.

Clipping Masks

Just a quick tidbit- I've gotten several emails and I want to clarify. These templates use clipping masks. You DO NOT have to crop your photos before hand, you merely drag them onto the template layer you want to fill, create the clipping mask (detailed instructions with screenshots are provided for those that haven't done this yet), and can free-transform+shift so that the portion of the photo you want showing is visible.

Think of clipping masks as two parts. The background (comes white) is like a big blanket covering everything. The colored boxes are holes that allow your photos to show through. So if you use an 8x10 ratio photo in an 5x7 box you DO NOT have to crop it to the correct ratio beforehand, just know that the other part of the photo will be "hidden"

If the few client responses I have received since utilizing these collections during my sales process are any indication of how it will grow future sales, I think we've tapped into a whole new market here!

Q: If I needed a smaller collection and the template I wanted to use had too many images, am I able to remove some for a lighter look?

A: Yup! Just click on the eye icon next to the layer in PS so you can instantly preview it without a box. Also another thing you can do to customize it- select all the layers and rotate them 90 or 180 degrees for another look. Just be sure to hold down shift at the same time so everything stays straight

Making these small quick changes easily quadrupals your design options! See how Gallery 7 is tranformed easy into 4 distinct looks. The first is the original. Then the next three are flipped and "lighter" versions of it. Once you know what you want to do takes 30 seconds- literally you just click the button off or rotate. (or both!)

Each of the templates is a fully editable layered PSD file.

The template is color coded and a legend is included to detirmine the corresponding print size. (See Legend below)

The templates are at 72 DPI- perfect for online and screen viewing. I have found 5x7 or 8x10 photos at 300DPI work best in the templates. That way, even the biggest print template (20x24) is ready to use without having to resize any images from your proofing size.
